Well...

I have 4 (?) new Medium diapers made- still waiting on the size labels to come in so I can get those sewn on & pictures taken. I also have 3 diapers pinned & ready to be sewn (not sure what sizes those are off the top of my head!). Made a few bamboo doublers today & ran out of bamboo, so I guess I'll be ordering more of that! I told my husband that I'm going to need his help cutting out microfiber sometime this week so I can get more inserts made. I detest cutting microfiber- the fuzzies get EVERYWHERE & stick to EVERYTHING. I hate cutting fabric period (so tedious!) but I really, really hate the microfiber. Yech! Oh, well- I'll just make sure to cut out a ton so that I don't need to mess w/ it for a long, long time. :)

34 weeks today

Have about 6 more weeks w/ this pregnancy, so I'm trying to sew when I can (and when I'm not absolutely exhausted!). I know I won't be sewing much once the baby's here, so I'm doing what I can now. Waiting on Medium size tags to come in so I can put up a couple more medium diapers. The winter DIY that is being run through a co-op is still waiting @ Fabrite. It's all done being laminated, so I don't know what the hold up is (neither does the co-op moderator). Hopefully I get that some time in the next month since I am LOW on diaper fabric! I've also ordered about 5 more prints (including Ooga!) but those were just ordered & then will need to be sent to Fabrite for laminating, so I'm not expecting those back until the fall.

I read about it on another diaper blog & it piqued my interest. I've been a loyal fan of Crunchy Clean & had actually just received a new order of it last week, but really wanted to try this stuff out. It should be here some time this week & I'm excited to see how it works.

:D Ok, WHY did I attempt an AIO tonight?!

I have no idea what came over me but, @ about 9:30 tonight, I decided that I NEEDED to try making an AIO diaper. Huh?! I KNOW nothing about AIO's! I never used them on Roman, even. Well, I have a couple newborn ones that I had bought while still pregnant w/ him but never really used them. Recently, though, I've been thinking about making some for the new baby. Again, I have NO experience w/ them, though! Anyway, let's just say that it was an interesting experience tonight. I was able to figure out what I needed to do & was definitely able to see the mistakes I made. This will be a work in progress!

Added some new dipes

Finally! Not many but they're all I've had done. My head is seriously spinning w/ what I need to sew. I'm completely out of inserts, so I need to make a bunch (or a ton) of them. I've also been out of diaper pail liners for AGES, so I need to make some more pronto. And I need to cut out a ton of suede cloth (such a monotonous pain!!!). I just like the fun part- sewing the diapers! :) I should make a list & stick w/ it, but for some reason I never do.

Ordered more PUL colors!

Whoo! I've been wanting some melon colored PUL, so I ordered some of that, along w/ raspberry & seaspray. Oh & white, but that's not too exciting. ;) They're through the co-op I belong to, so I have no idea how long it takes to get the orders through. Can't wait to see them!

I haven't been sewing many diapers lately- we're in the process of moving Roman into his new room so I've been sewing his curtains. I've also been trying my hand @ making ring slings (not to sell- just for myself) & also making nursing covers (just bought some SUPER cute fabric that I cannot wait to make into nursing covers!!!). However, Roman needed some new diapers so I decided to make him one from the holiday fabrics I recently got back from being laminated @ Fabrite. He's becoming a very patriotic little boy! :)
