After careful consideration

I have decided to keep the shop closed for the month of April. I need a break from sewing. For almost 2 1/2 years, I've concentrated on diapers & just need a little vacay. When I reopen in May, I will most likely not be doing custom orders anymore. So what I will have listed for sale is all there will be. Maxington Bear will stay open during this time. :) I hope everyone has a good Easter (it's also my baby's 1st Birthday!).

These are just a few of the new prints that are being offered! I've already picked out 17 that I want to order. :) These will be COTTON & sent off to the laminator. Don't get too excited- the database to order these will not close till April 1st. Which means that it will take time to get made & sent to the moderator running it & then sent off to get laminated. So I won't actually have it for quite a while. But I am seriously SOOO excited for these!!!

Make your own pee pad/ mattress protector

We started potty training Roman in December. It's going well, but we still need something on his bed at night (we don't use Pull Ups & I've yet to buy/make training pants so he just wears regular underwear). This idea popped into my head so I went w/ it. :)

Take a flannel receiving blanket

(I hate measuring things out so, when I don't have to, I don't!)

Put your waterproof material (I used PUL) underneath & cut around.

Or do a better job than me & measure/trace. :)

Then get your absorbant material (I used Zorb) & lay your blanket on top of that. Cut around.

Sandwhich together your layers: PUL (shiny side in), Zorb & then blanket.

Pin.

Serge.

Et voila!

What we do:

Put a sheet on Roman's bed.

Then the pad on top, in the area that would most likely get wet.

Put another sheet on that & make the bed like normal.

Then, if he's wet in the middle of the night, I can just whip the wet sheet off & not worry about re-making the bed.
